The Franciscan Route in Sardinia

The Franciscan Route in Sardinia

The Franciscan route in Sardinia was created to retrace the ancient paths that were taken daily by the friars. The routes touch convents, churches, and special places of devotion on an island where there are still dozens of active fraternities among the orders and secular Franciscans. It unfolds along a long itinerary that starts in the Nuoro area and reaches the province of Oristano, and continues from Alghero to Pula.
