Villasimius
The Blue Paradise: Enchanting Sardinia at its Best
Villasimius, one of the most stunning venues in Sardinia, can be reached in an hour’s drive from Cagliari. This village, scantily inhabited, is the center of a genuine natural paradise. Its 35 km of coastline feature a never-ending sequence of small coves, long white beaches running along a sea of unparalleled beauty, granite rocks and a Mediterranean maquis with its rich perfumes.
Villasimius: A Holiday for Everybody!
Villasimius offers a wide range of sealife experiences: from boat trips to sailing lessons, from diving to simple snorkeling. At the end of a relaxing day, the experience can continue in a pub, in a club or in one of the many restaurants offering Sardinian cuisine at its best.
The Protected Area of Capo Carbonara
This marine sanctuary extends from Capo Boi to the coastline facing the isle of Serpentara. It also covers the promontory, the Isola dei Cavoli as well as many nearby shallows. A fishing ban turned this stretch of sea into the undisputed reign of groupers and other numerous fish species. Posidonia prairies are the habitat of the now rare Pinna Nobilis, whereas granite rock falls are home to beautiful colonies of sea fans, incessantly swept by tidal currents.
