The meeting point is in Oberdan square at 10 :00 am. we start our walk in Via Commercio one of the most ancient street of our city, site of the commercial activity since the medioeval age at leats from 1200. we proceed towards Via Nuova .Which used to be called the “narrow” street we reach the Vargiu bakery were the artigianal tradition of bakery is handed down from generation to generation . Then we reach La Marmora place with the old statue of the Maimone a God of the water, will go to visit the goldsmith Fabrizio Loi and will admire some traditional jewels then we move to meet the craftswoman Ninetta Rizzo that manages an artistic lab in the heart of the city, she keeps the old tradition of the ceramic,locateded at few steps from the Santa Chiara Cathedral ,the only world wide Cathedral dedicated to the Saint.
After having walked across two of the Historical disricts of the city : The district”Fontana”, so called because the fountain symbol of the disctrict. And “Santa Chiara” districts named in onor of the saint patroness of the city.
As we reach Piazza Municipio with his bishop palace close to the district of ” Quartiere Castello”,which in medioeval era used to live the noble families. We head toward the Pisan boundary walls of the city walking across the narrow streets which display red and yellow flags representing the symbol of “Quartiere Castello”.
We end our walk going to the Ciccimonelli winery for a degustation of tipycal Sardinian products such as sausages, cheese, sweets while sipping a good glass of wine.
