The town of Ussaramanna is located in the centre of the Marmilla region, in a valley between the Gesturi and Siddi giaras and it offers, surrounded by wheat fields, vineyards and centuries-old olive groves, numerous finds from the Nuragic period as well as evidence of the Roman presence in the area.
Here, nestled in a wonderful natural setting, an oasis of Mediterranean tree species grow luxuriantly, favoured by the mild and sunny climate.
The Nuraghe San Pietro stands on the top of a small hill, about 165 metres above sea level, near the town.
