The museum of ‘bread’, which was founded in 2017 to pass on the ancient traditions of a town that has always been in contact with nature and linked to farming customs and the production of the typical bread of Sanluri: Civraxu, a large loaf of bread made from the best grains The museum is divided into five sections in a journey that starts with the history of the product in antiquity, from the working of the land to the moment of bread-making (kneading, rising, baking). Workshops can be held in this museum for students and adults who want to learn and get to know the ancient art of bread-making.

The Capuchin museum provides an insight into the lives of the men who lived in the convents in recent centuries.

And the museum of the Risorgimento Duca d’ Aosta, which houses memorabilia from the First World War and documents including the Tricolour of Victory and the bulletin of the Supreme Command signed by Gen. Armando Diaz.
Also very interesting is the collection of ceroplasts contained in one of the wings of the Sanluri castle.

The museum centre of Sanluri was created in the castle of the same name, the only visitable and intact castle in the whole of Sardinia.
