The captain and his crew is pleased to receive you on board the “Maby II 1944”
The sea is our first great love that we want to share with those who think like us.
The excursion on the Maby II fascinating schooner of 22 meters. built entirely of wood in 1944 for coral fishing. On board you will find every comfort: cabins with beds, two bathrooms, kitchen, dinette, lounge, large spaces dedicated to sunbathing and shade, external fresh water shower. Maby is rich in history, will take you to discover the sea and the coasts of Villasimius (Marine Protected Area) away from any noise. The schooner will make you listen to the sound of the sea and the wind, a day to be shared in a few (maximum 12 people), with a discreet but prepared crew who will assist you whenever you need it.
Itinerary
The program involves reaching the port of Villasimius by Mini Bus, from where we set sail at 10.30. After a navigation that will lead to round the Capo Carbonara, we arrive at the Isola dei Cavoli where the visit to the ground is scheduled.
On board you will find masks and fins for snorkeling and you will leave to discover colorful fish and suggestive backdrops.
At lunch the crew will serve you a Sardinian snack with the inevitable “MALLOREDDUS” (typical Sardinian pasta with tomato) Sardinian sausage, pecorino cheese, vegetables, fruit, wine and myrtle
In the afternoon we will head for other coves where you can swim and relax.
Saracen towers, Spanish fortress, old lighthouses, will make you relive stories of fishermen and battles of Saracen pirates. On the way back, you will find that you have spent a special day full of emotions that will leave you with the flavor of distant times ……..
